Dan Neidens, owner of "Good Samaritan Moving and Storage" in Baltimore, Maryland has victimized people by literally robbing them of their entire home's contents. People who thought they were putting their belongings in to storage have found out everything they owned is gone and they are left with nothing but the clothes on their backs.
We are seeking additional victims in order to collectively go after Mr. Neidens, and possibly the owner of the warehouse where he stored our belongings.
The Baltimore police were called to the warehouse and referred one victim to Howard County police where she lived only to be told it was not considered a "criminal" act because she signed a contract allowing them in to her home. What if they had beaten her, or worse raped her? Would it have been OK since she gave them permission to enter her home?
The owner of the company, Dan Neidens ran off and went in to hiding. He has left the State of Maryland and some people have reported he is in Kansas City or Topeka, Kansas with his Mommy and Daddy. Other reports say he may be in Wyoming. When Mr. Neidens was contacted by one of the victims in July 2007, he stated he did not know what happened to her belongings and he did not know who was responsible. He offered no explanation and no sympathy. Had Mr. Neidens let people know a problem existed, maybe they could have collected on his insurance which was revoked around April of 2007.
We are also SEEKING A CLEAR PICTURE OF DAN NEIDENS to post. We want others to be able to recognize him for the rogue he is. There may not be anything we can do to recover our belongings, but at least we may be able to prevent Mr. Neidens from doing the same to others. Who knows what State he ran to? He could be opening up another company right now under another name, applying for another DOT number, or using someone else's DOT number like he did with one victim in Maryland.
Anyone with any information is urged to contact other victims at goodsamaritanvictims@hotmail.com Even the smallest bit of information may be significant.
We have lost everything we owned. Not through a fire, a flood, a hurricane, or an earthquake; but through the actions of another human being. In this crisis we are reminded not to judge the human race by the actions of one rogue, rather we are encouraged to find the good in today's events and trust in those who are willing to help us seek justice and get our lives back on track. God sends us help through the people in our lives...

Since this posting, we have found out Mr. Neidens ran off to the states of Kansas and Wyoming, and offered no explanation whatsoever on the whereabouts of our belongings. On January 12th, Mr. Neidens was killed in a drunk driving accident in Wyoming. We hold litte hope of ever recovering out things. Although WBAL in Baltimore did a news story on our plight, the news station never looked in to Mr. Rhoades, the warehouse owner's actions after Mr. Neidens abandoned some victim's belongings there. It is alleged Mr. Rhoades held an auction and sold off what was left.
Many of us checked out Mr. Neidens and got no warning from places like the MD attorney general or the BBB. He was in business for several years and had a valid license and DOT number when he did this.
This is a cry for Maryland and other states to do something about the lack of controls over the moving and storage industry!
He was not drunk and it was not a drunk driving accident.
Thank you for your post. This is excellent information. It is amazing and wonderful to visit your site.
